ROCHESTER (LGS) — Earlier today, the American Hockey League released their schedule for the upcoming 2007-2008 hockey season.

The Rochester Americans will open their season on Friday, October 5th when the rival Syracuse Crunch come to the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial in Rochester.

The Amerks will get their first crack at revenge against the Hamilton Bulldogs, who knocked the Americans out of the playoffs before going on to win the 2007 AHL Calder Cup, on Sunday, October 7th.
